Macon, Georgia - Joyce Olivia McCranie Teal passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. A private service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the mausoleum chapel at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Larry Letson will officiate. Due to COVID there will not be a formal visitation.
Joyce was born December 7, 1942 in Telfair County, Georgia, to the late Eddie McCranie and Hazel Selph McCranie. Her husband, Jerry Teal; her brothers; Max McCranie and Travis McCranie; her nephew, Gary Wire and her brother-in-law, Jim Bullock preceded her in death. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of Northridge Baptist Church.
Joyce is survived by her children; Debra Harrison (Windy) of Macon, Brenda Teal Moulton (Kyle Obrien) of Centerville and Linda Mosely (Jeff) of Forsyth; sisters; Jannie O'Neal and JoAnn Bullock of Milan; grandchildren; Ashley Harrison Campbell, Jennifer Mosely Bowen, Jonathan Harrison and Matthew Mosely; great-grandchildren; Hunter, Rigdon, Carter, Ashbie, Meritt and Salem; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Joyce loved her fur baby "Bailey."
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 1120 Morning Side Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
