Kenneth R. Watson -VIENNA - Kenneth R. Watson, age 78, of Pleasant Hill Road, Vienna, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 2P.M. at the Chapel of Hughes and Wright Funeral Home. Interment in Sunnyside Cemetery. -He was a native of Wilcox County and a Retired District Supervisor of Kwickie Food Stores. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and served in the US Marines during World War II. -Survivors include wife, Violet Carter Watson, Vienna; son, Ricky (Kimberly) Watson, Duluth; daughter, Cindy (Thomas) Rachels, Cordele; three grandchildren, Nick and Will Rachels and Rylee Watson; sisters, Marjorie Richardson, Cordele and Bernice Haralson, Cordele; two nieces, Diana Lee, Central, SC, and Linda Baker, Cordele. -Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 at the funeral home. -For those who wish to sign the online guestbook, please go to hughesandwright.com.
