MACON, GA- Larry Joe Roberts, 69, of Lakeview Rd., passed away Saturday in Macon.
Services will be held Wednesday January 27, 2016 at 2:00PM in New Haven Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Sam Loyd will officiate.
Mr. Roberts was born in Barnesville, GA, the son of the late Joe C. Roberts. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Wayne Roberts and by two nephews and one niece. Larry was a former member of Liberty Hill Masonic Lodge where he served a Master, Secretary and treasurer. He was currently a member of Cool Spring Masonic Lodge #185 in Danville. Larry was a self employed Auto Mechanic. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Dorothy Jones Roberts. Son, Michael Roberts. Mother. Frances W. Taylor. Sisters and Brother, Brenda (Donald) Floyd, Sarah Long, Anthony (JoAnn) Roberts.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday in the funeral home
