Larry Singleton Obituary
October 16, 1941 - August 31, 2012
Macon , Georgia- Larry Gene Singleton, 70, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Marty Watson officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Donations may be made to United Hospice, 6060 Lakeside Commons Drive, Macon, GA 31210 or the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
Mr. Singleton was born in Macon, Georgia to the late John and Frances Jones Singleton, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Clara Frances McDaniel and Annie Ruth Singleton and his brother, John Singleton, Jr. He served in the United States Navy and was a former member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He was retired from Boral Bricks and enjoyed watching football and baseball.
He is survived by his loving and devoted sister, Shelby Jean Watson of Macon and several nieces and nephews.

I loved Larry so much. Larry was without a doubt my favorite uncle. I have many fond memories of him. He was the very first person to take me to church. I will always remember him cooking me grilled cheese sandwiches, taking me to movies and buying me Dark Shadows books, comic books, and candy. He is in eternity now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is whole and perfect. I will see him again one day.

Im Sorry for another loss of the wonderful Singleton Family, we love you great uncle Larry, when jesus welcomes you in his arms, turn around and see Russell and Mary Dunn and please let them know we love and miss them.
