Smockie's children attended the school where I was Principal/Teacher in Macon. We really loved her. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. May God be with her precious children always.

It has been a year since you transitioned over but you will forever be in our hearts. WE loved you in life and even more in death because we know that you are with the King. There is not a day that goes by that we don't think about you. This past year has been so hard for all of us but because of the impact that you left behind has made it somewhat easier to try and reflect on the awesome 30 years that we had you in our lives. You are always on our minds and hearts. WE really do miss you my friend, pal, buddy, sister, mom, daughter, niece, aunt,cousin,sister-in-law, and granddaughter, god mother, and bff. You continue to rest in peace.

It seems that Smockie was a fun loving, beautiful woman who was loved by many. I can imagine the loss will be felt for many years to come by those closest to her. However judging from the pictures and her beautiful smile, I can imagine she left many fond memories. I pray the memories of her loving life brings comfort in the years to come.
