Maisie Abbott Hobbs
December 27, 1931 - June 19, 2018
Bonaire, GA- Maisie Abbott Hobbs, 86, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of June 19, 2018.
Mrs. Hobbs was born on December 27, 1931 in Bonavista, Newfoundland to the late Fred and Phoebe Chalk Abbott. Of the Presbyterian faith, she found great peace and joy in life from crocheting. She was preceded in death by her son, Ira George Hobbs.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of 65 years, George William Hobbs; her son, Charles Fred Hobbs (Vernice) of Warner Robins; one grandson; one granddaughter; her brothers, Anderson Abbott and Warren Abbott; and her sister, Margaret Barrett.
Visitation with Mrs. Hobb's family will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Cleghorn officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Hobbs will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
