Dearest Mark,Liz, Erica, Johnny and Joyce,
JC and I did not know of Anthony's death untill yesterday. We do not get the paper because after Josh's death, we could not bear to read all the obituaries of the young people who had died. We are so, so, so sorry and we want you to know that God will carry you all each step of the way. When you feel like you cannot take your next breath, HE will breathe for you. Just know you are never alone, and try to remember the wonderful memories and not the death day. I know how hard that is and the enemy will try and keep you there, but let God take you to precious memories and when you think of your wonderful Anthony may it always be in his beautiful smile and fun ways. This is what keeps us going is remembering our Joshua in these ways, not his tragic death. It takes time, it is the hardest thing you will ever do, and we still have hard days, but you are all such a wonderful family and I know you are held in the palm of God's hand. He will take you on to the future even tho I know now you are so heartbroken. The pain will ease and He will let you know He has Anthony with Him. I am sure Anthony and Josh are doing some extra special jobs up there in heaven that only they could have done. Every hair on their head is accounted for and they are perfect and whole again....we will all be together again! Oh for that DAY!

I worked with Mark at Carlyle Place. I befriend him instantly. He was a good boy with a big heart. At work he always did his best and wore very shiny black shoes. He never had a harsh word to say. I heard his sister Eric speak to day and it really touched me to know he was a terrific guy to every one and not just me. I cried and will keeping crying, but eventually we all run out of tears. Having known Anthony since kndergarten at St. Joseph, with Alex, and living down the street from you guys, I don't think I have known a person with a sweeter nature than Anthony. One who ALWAYS was smiling and ready to please. How many times did we have to get on to Alex and Anthony for cutting up and talking at school? He always had a nice polite thing to say with a huge grin- that all from the way you guys raised him and taught him.
