Marcia Louise Deeb

Marcia Louise Deeb, age 84, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of January 25, 2026, in Front Royal, Virginia.

She was born on March 10, 1941, in Sharon, Connecticut, and grew up on a farm in rural New York State-an upbringing that shaped her strong values, generosity, and deep love of family.

Marcia was educated at Hartwick College and later worked as a teacher in Baltimore County Schools, a role that reflected her caring nature and dedication to others. She eventually stepped away from her career to focus on raising her children, as family always came first.

She married her one and only true love, George Deeb, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and devotion to family. After marrying, she moved to Maryland, where she raised her children, and later settled in Stephens City, Virginia, where she lived out the remainder of her days.

Family mattered most to Marcia. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Deeb; her son-in-law, Christerpher Venable; and her beloved granddaughter, Starr Dehaven Venable, as well as nieces Alison McGhee, Laurel Blackett, Holly McGhee, and nephew Douglas McGhee. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Deeb, her son, Paul Deeb, brother Donald McGhee, and sister-in-law Gabrielle McGhee.

Marcia's love and legacy live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

To honor Marcia and her legendary love of shoes, we invite everyone to wear their boldest, happiest sneakers to her memorial.

A visitation will take place Saturday, January 31st, 2026 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The service will follow at 1:00pm officiated by Pastor Stephen Mathis.
