May 29, 1928 - March 3 2014
Warner Robins, GA- Mrs. Martha Young Hill, 85, passed away on Monday, March 3rd, 2013 in a local hospital.
Visitation will be held on March 5th, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8: 00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on March 6th, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Poulan Cemetery at 3:00 PM in Poulan GA.
Martha was born in Fort Valley, GA to the late Jake and Helen (Harper) Young. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Loyd L. Hill; daughters, Lucille Hill and Kaye Hill; and sister, Lois Frances Sanders.
Martha was a retired civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base as an accounting technician. Martha was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for thirty-four years.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Irvin) Pitts; granddaughter, Amy Pitts; great-grandchildren, Kaylee (Hunter) Ivey of Lizella, GA and Rebekah Hamm, Matthew Hamm of Atlanta, GA, and Brittney Hamm of Warner Robins, GA; great-great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Hill Ivey of Lizella, GA; sisters, Sue Shiver, Ann (Raymond) Hill, Bernice (James) White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
