I met Mindi at Furman University. I loved her smile and her beautiful yes and her wonderful personality. I just happened to think of her today and began searching on the net and found out the terrible news. I miss her, and I will always see her in my visions.

To the Miller Family,

I just learned of Mindi's passing in the most recent Marist Matters; rest assured that God had a special role reserved for this angel. Mindi was one of the kindest and most genuine individuals that I have ever met. The Marist community was blessed to have her. Mindi was several years ahead of me at Marist; I used to ride to school with her and Matt; even on a cold morning you could count on a bright smile that would warm your day! :-) Mindi was a truly amazing individual and she will be missed. My heart goes out to all of you.

Dear Robert, Linda and Family,

My heart goes out to you in this tragic time and words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Mindi was a special girl, in a special home with wonderful parents. The love she was given by you and her brothers radiated in her smile. May you find comfort in each other and in your faith, for at times like this, there is no greater power. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Michele

I met Mindi back in Feb or March during an insurance training class to help us pass our P & C test. Although I only knew her for a brief week, it seemed like we had know each other forever. We met on the first day in the parking lot and hit it off from the very beginning. We went to lunch together everyday, sat together and of course, laughed together as we shared stories to pass the time. When I ironically ran into a fellow MaryKay sister of hers tonight at the mall I mentioned Mindi's name and discovered her passing and your loss. I was taken by complete surprise and have had you on my thoughts from that moment on and will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Mindi was a wonderful, beautiful lady who I was blessed to get to know over such a short period of time. God bless you all and grant you peace.

Sincerely,

The most renowned poets would struggle to put into words the beauty of this exquisite life. She reflected all of the magnificence that God gives. She was a child that dazzled and an adult that just got lovelier. Mindi was one of God's gifts to me. He allowed me time with her. I loved her and said many times to many people, "if I had a daughter, I would have wanted a Mindi Miller".

Very Fondly,

I am so BLESSED to have had Mindi in my life. As her Director in Mary Kay, she was more like my daughter with her youthfulness. Perhaps her time on earth seems brief, but I've decided to not lengthen it with grief but cherished memories of good times and laughter, remembered joys.

I wish you, her family, sunshine of tomorrow. Continue to pull on your faith.

Picture this! A 20 year old college student leaving Mindi’s house only to hear her say, “I like it when you come over – do you have to leave so soon.” Then to hear her Mom say “Mindi really likes you, Danny.” Needless to say, I was hooked. What guy wouldn’t be? The feeling I had was undoubtedly experienced by others that have met Mindi throughout the years. The big difference between my story and theirs is that when I was 20, Mindi was only 3, and oh yes, she was my cousin. I was “hooked” then, and quite honestly, I still am today.

Mindi, did I ever thank you for being our flower girl 21 years ago? Thanks – you were adorable. As you grew up, your beauty and charm never ceased to amaze me. I always looked forward to seeing you. Thank you for spending so much time with Sherri at our family reunion. That meant a lot to her. We love you Mindi, we miss you, and we take comfort in anticipating the day when we are reunited again.

To the Miller Family:

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Mindi's passing. I had the pleasure of living with Mindi for one hilarious summer at Furman. There were five of us living in a two-bedroom run-down (was there any other kind?) Furman Place apartment, and it is a miracle we didn't laugh the walls down in the silliness of that summer. I’ll never forget the stray dog that she brought home one night. We named her Lucy, although later I think we found out she was a he, and all of us got a kick out of Mindi’s Obedience School for Dogs. It was innovative to say the least. Typical, huh? Mindi had a knack for reaching out to those in need, and making them better for knowing her. Lucy may not have known what a lucky dog he was! I, however, will feel eternally blessed by the opportunity I had to be warmed by Mindi’s smile, showered with her giggles, and bettered by the friendship of such a beautiful person. May God Bless her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Miller Family:

What an awesome job you did raising your only daughter. Mindi was the most magnetic person to be around- everyone became happy when Mindi walked into a room! I will never forget the way she would always pull on her hair in the back of her head to make her hair fuller and more voluminous. And the way she laughed...I could never walk away from her when she was laughing her laugh without giggling too. She was truly loved by all of the ADPI's at Furman and really everyone she ever met.

Her presence on earth will be truly missed by all of us, but God is so lucky to have her up in heaven with Him. You know she and God are best friends by now!

My prayers and thoughts are with your whole family.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Miller,

Please accept my condolences for your tragic loss. I feel so lucky and blessed to have known your daughter as a sister and as a friend. She truly was one of the most amazing women I met at Furman. I will always remember Mindi's incredible spirit, her beautiful smile, and wonderful personality. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

God Bless,

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Miller and Family:

I rarely read the obituaries, but as I thumbed through the AJC this morning, for some reason, I stopped at Mindi's obituary notice. Her beauty is riviting. Her eyes are filled with sunshine. She was so young and had accomplished so much and touched the lives of so many people in her brief life time. My wife and I have a son Mindi's age and cannot fathom the gravity of your loss. Although we did not know her, our prayers for comfort and God's Peace are with you and your family.

When I picture Mindi, I see a girl facing me with the most beautiful, warm smile and roarous laughter. When I was around her, I couldn't help but be happy. Not only was she lovely outside, but she was kindhearted and giving and a dear friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. My husband and I are both Marist graduates but were older than Mindi and did not have the great fortune to meet her.

However, her Marist friends and teachers speak so highly of her and we know she will be deeply missed. We are so sorry for the loss of a wonderful daughter, sister and friend. Your family is in our prayers.
