Milledgeville, Georgia- Nell Harrington passed away Thursday, November 01, 2018 at Navicent Hospital in Macon, Georgia surrounded by her family and special friends. Funeral services will be Monday, November 5th, at 11:00 am at Moores Funeral Home in Milledgeville, GA. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until service time.
Nell was born in Baldwin County to the late Roland H. Lawrence and Dolly Horne Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anne Lawrence, and her husband, John Floyd Harrington. She is survived by her son, Dr. Jay Harrington (Jean) and her daughter, Emily Anne Harrington Battle (Chip), seven grandchildren, Tyler Harrington (Callan), Rachel Harrington, Jackson Hendry, Anna Battle Saleh (Omar), Katie Battle Threadgill (Jonathon), Bruno Jones (Chris), and Lisa Lopez.
Nell's children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Nell's generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness will always be remembered by those she touched. Nell was committed to her family and always offered support in any way that she could to help them achieve their highest potential. She loved and adored her special friends Ida Mae Stephens and Monique Willis. They cared for her every day and made theses last years of her life enjoyable, comfortable, and filled with happiness. Nell will be dearly missed and may she rest in peace.
