AUNT FAYE WAS MY GREAT AUNT. I AM DESA'S GRANDDAUGHTER. THE LAST TIME I TALKED TO AUNT FAYE WAS IN SEPTEMBER OF 2001. TO ME SHE SOUNDED HAPPY. I LOVED HER VERY MUCH AND WISH I COULD BE THERE FOR THE FUNERAL BUT THE MILITARY KEEPS ME HERE. SHE WILL BE IN MY HEART ALWAYS AS SHE ALWAYS HAS BEEN. MY LOVE AND CONDOLENCES TO HER FAMILY ON THE OTHER SIDE. MAY GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

I'm not one for many words, but I do want to say that Aunt Faye was in my thoughts all the time. I will cherish all the memories and love that she had given me.

My Aunt Faye was a wonderful woman. She never met a stranger. Whenever anyone needed help even though she did not have it she would share what she did have or at least make a way to find help. She was my best friend and my closest confidante. I will miss her more than life itself. We would talk every sunday on the phone and she never failed to make sure I knew how much she loved me. To all that knew her you knew an angel! Here is my feelings on her passing; Aunt Faye the time has come for you to go and sleep with the angels. Don't worry about me, I will be with you again someday. I will miss you. At first it will be hard on sunday's not to pick up the phone and call you, but I know you will be up there watching over me. I cry because I am going to miss you, but I know you are in a better place. Now there is no time for pain only joy and happiness. I love you Aunt Faye you are my bright and shinning star in the darkest of nights, and every time I see a dogwood tree or even a pine tree that you so loved to smell in the early morning hours of spring I will think of you. Sleep with the angels and rest craddeled in God's arms. I love you Marie!
