Macon, ga- Funeral services for Superintendent Emeritus Oliver Colas Walton will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Southern Ga. 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction C.O.G.I.C. Bishop John Wayne Leggett will officiate. Interment services will follow in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Superintendent Emeritus Walton, 93, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018.
Survivors include eight children, Oliver C. Walton, Jr., Shirley (Wendall) Hamilton, Constance (Cecil) Battle, Jeremiah (Tokela) Walton, Lydia (Ronny) Coons, Miriam (Devere) Walton, Deborah (Wendell) Thomas, and Valeria Walker; three sisters, Dorothy Catchings, Mildred Thorpe and Tina Truitt; one brother, Cosby (Liza) Walton; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family may be contacted at 776 Middlesex Dr. Macon.
A Wake service will be held 3 PM Saturday at Ash Street C.O.G.I.C. 841 Ash Street, Macon.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
