Macon, Georgia - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Peter F. Taylor Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church located at 1465 Burton Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204. Pastor Christopher E. Cabiness will officiate. Mr. Taylor leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Carolyn R. Taylor; sons, Peter Taylor III and Jarvis Taylor; grandchildren, Ashton, Peter IV and Charlie; and a host of other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the chapel of Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home located at 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. The family is requesting everyone to wear a face mask and follow CDC guidelines. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.

I remember Peter Taylor from PGA High School. Peter was always a gentleman with much respect for others.

Condolences to Caroline & sons & the Taylor family. Peter & Caroline were our upstairs neighbors in the 70´s we had a chance meeting while clearing debris in the cemetery my sister recognized her classmate & fellow Tiger Mate even across the way. My prayers for the Taylor Family as you prepare to celebrate a life well lived. Peter was my Brother and my Friend. We served together in Macon Masonic District #5 OES. He was District Worthy Patron and I was District Worthy Matron. For the past 5 years, we served as Area Coordinators for J.H. Walker Consistory #14 and Mary L. Walker Assembly #14, Valley of Macon. When we were last together on December 4th, 2021 I did not know that it would be the last time we would see each other. Rest in Heaven my Brother, until we meet again.

I met Peter when i was 13 yrs old. He was my neighbor & we became really good friends, i remember us playing hide & go seek at night on 3rd ave. He was such a awesome person, kind, caring & fun to be around. He was the type of friend one nevers forgets. Over a span of 50 years when i would go to Macon to visit & we would see each other we would become so excited to see one another. This one hit me very hard.
