I'm sorry for the passing of Mr. Preston. Mr Preston was very supported of my father (Freddie Brown, former employee of Stokes for nearly 50 years) during his illness many years ago. He also will be missed by Mrs. Bennie Lee Brown.

I am very saddened to see Mr. Preston Tucker's obituary in the paper today. I did not know him personally, only through going to Stokes-Shaheen. I'll never forget him in his "Russian Hat" when cold weather hit. He was one of the kindest, sweetest gentlemen I have ever been around. I wish I'd known him more. He was always smiling and more than glad to help you anyway he could. I'm sorry he is no longer with us, as he surely brightened up everyone's life he touched, even in small ways. My deepest sympathy to his family. Sincerely, Ms. Jodie Marshall

I knew Mr. Tucker from when I went to high school with his son Phil. Mr. Tucker was friends with my parents and he always treated me as if I was one of the family. I will always remember him and Phil and I will miss them. My deepest condolence to his family.
