MACON, GA- Randy Eugene Epps, 58 of Old Griswoldville Rd., passed away Tuesday in Macon.
Services will be held Saturday October 15, 2016 at 2:00PM in Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Rev. Darrell Watson will officiate.
Mr. Epps was born in Macon, GA the son of the late Clifford E. "Pete" Epps, Jr.. He had a gift with cars and enjoyed auto racing, hunting and fishing, and was a member of Shurlington Baptist Church. Randy loved his children and family unconditionally.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Tyler Epps. Children, Rusty Dale (Jessica) Epps, Cacey Randall (Ashley) Epps, Jaime Lyn (Johnathan) Short. His Mother, Lillie Wilson Armstrong. Step-Children, Kenneth Birdsong, Jr., Rachel (Ben) Crabtree and Brianne Birdsong. Sister, Susan Teresa Epps. Grandchildren, Austyn Short, Lillie Epps, Karlee Epps, Miley Epps, Gabriel "Gabe" Epps, Tyler Clark, Lincoln Crabtree, and Georgiana Irish.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 before service

Praying for Randy's family during the hard days ahead. God already knows your grief so please allow him to hold you tight. I grew up on Willis Ct and even though Randy was older than me he was always the nicest and best looking guy in our neighborhood. He loved to fix up his yard at Halloween and scare the trick or treaters. He scared me. The Hartley family sends their condolences.

Can't believe this happened, I lived on Willis ct in the seventies was friends with Randy moved away and had reconnected about a year ago on fb and really enjoyed rehashing the times we had, RIP my friend Randy, you will surely be missed by everyone that knew you.

Grew up in Shurlington, just off New Clinton. We all grew up knowing each other. He was great guy as a teen, and I know he had to be an amazing husband, father and Papa.
