Ray McDonald Obituary

Ray McDonald -VIDALIA-Ray McDonald, 44 died Wednesday, July 3 from injuries received from a lightning strike on a job site in Lyons. Services will be 11A.M., Saturday, July 6 in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Aaron Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens near Vidalia. -Native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, he was employed at McDonald Construction Company and was a farmer. -Survivors include his son: Chris McDonald, Higgston; sisters: Glenda M. Garrett, Vidalia and Nita Thigpen, Mt. Vernon; brothers: Lindy McDonald and M. Joe McDonald, both of Vidalia and Scheryl Collins, Albany; friend: Dianne Mills, Lyons. -Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. Friday at Murchison Funeral Home. -Murchison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
