Kim, I´m so sorry to hear of your mom´s passing. Mine passed in 1991. I sang with you in the 70´s at Holiday inn on Fortune and Ashly street. Inn Sound Singers. I´ve been married over 40 years to a pastor, however he is retired now. I still have the newspaper clippings from that time in our lives. That is where I met your parents and sister Victoria. Please look me up on Facebook under Terry Anne Rademacher Rice. Miss you Kim.

Dear Kim and Victoria
I just found out today, 8/17/2009, that your mom died last April. I am so shocked!! I talked to her several months ago and she seemed fine. I always loved your mom as much as my mom, Edna Huguet, loved her. They were best friends for a long, long time...and distant cousins. I send you my sincerest condolences. Please let me hear from you at my email [email protected].

Ree,
For the years I've known you, I've really had some good times with you. The shopping trips we did, finding a bargain was more exciting to us I think than actually wearing them. How tired we were after the mall and how the coffee tasted so good when we got to your house. The trips we four made together and fun we had I will never forget. I will miss you.
My love to you Ree,
Bev

Dear Victoria and Kim,
I was saddened to hear your Mother's announcement in the First Baptist Church, Gordon, Ga. last Sunday. I never had the privilege of meeting your Mom personally. My mom, Pattie Teen DuPree Brooks of Gordon, GA, was a close friend of your Mom. They stayed in touch with phone calls and cards all these years. When my mother had been admitted into the Emory Hospital in July 1995, she received a phone call. When she got off we all asked (as usual) who she was talking too. She said it was Ree Veal. We all knew who she was since we had so many years of hearing about mother's friends. It was the only time I hadn't answered the phone that day. I thought, I missed my one chance to talk to Mrs. Ree Veal Principle. :^) It's a silly thought (and true), but I hope it put a smile on your face for a moment. I loved hearing about Victoria surprising Kim and coming out singing a song on Kim's birthday. I'm sure many people know you through your parents and many of us will keep you in our prayers. Mother went home to be with the Lord, April 26, 2004, my father, last July 15th. This past Sunday was a sad day for us (4-26). It is an unwelcomed new stage of life, but it is a comfort to know we will see them again in Heaven. Please know I will be praying for you.
Oh, your Mom's picture is in the Gordon Depot Museum. A classmate donated a copy of all the class pictures for that year. I know that's small, but I think it's special. Yes, my mother's picture is there too. Your mother was very much missed at their 42nd High School Reunion. I know she will be greatly missed by many. I know she was a precious lady as my mother was too. From reading the notes they sound a lot alike. Beautiful, cheerful, friendly, helpful to others and they knew what they liked. I do know how much she will be missed, even in Gordon.
My father took me out to the Asbury Church Cemetery. He showed me your grandfather's grave and told me the story. The character of our parent's generation is amazing. Their love for the Lord was impressive too. I hope we will all shine for HIM. I hope to meet you in Heaven one day. I know our parents are enjoying themselves and praising the Lord.
Love & Prayers,

What a LADY! I owned the cleaning service that cleaned for Mr. & Mrs. Principal in Warner Robins. They were two of a kind. Mrs. Principal knew what she wanted, when she wanted it, & exactly how she wanted it. I always admired her spunk and always will. Mrs. Principal loved to tell stories of Victoria and Kims childhood, and I loved to sit in the sunroom with her to listen.
The Lord has another ANGEL!

Kim, Your Mom was very, very special and a dear friend . I loved her very much and will miss her dearly. We had so many great times together.
I Thought Of Her Today
I thought of her today but that is nothing new,
I thought about her yesterday and day's before that too
I think of her in silence, I often speak her name,
All I have is memories and her picture in a frame,
Her memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part
God has her in his keeping, I have her in my heart.
Love,
Carol

Victoria, I know you won't remember me but our mothers were in the hospital together many years ago in Warner Robins. Both were very ill. I was sorry to see where your mom had passed. My mama is still with me and I know that each day is very special. I pray that your many happy memories will keep her in your heart forever.

Kim,
Your Mom, "Mrs. Ree" will always have a special place in my heart. During the five months that I was privileged to know her, I came to love and respect her very much. She was such a kind, honest and loving person. She was such a special friend and had many friends to show for that. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Family,
I feel like I know your mom through Tony Herrin, her caregiver. Tony and I have been friends for 30+ years and I can assure you that she loved your mother with all her heart.
Ree seemed to be full of life and spunk up to the very end. I hope that I can be like that.
May you all be comforted as you adjust to this new chapter of life.

Rest in peace my friend. You left a big void in my life. Our friendship started with a nudge from Vic, that big hearted, friendly husband of yours, and spanned about 42 years. To Kim & Victoria, you have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Kim & Victoria,
Your parents were such a huge part of my childhood though we only had those two years in Homestead. Keeping in touch via your Mom and my Mom always brought me a sense of connection. A joy. I've known you ...or of you... almost my entire life. At 45, that's a long time for me now.
The brain aneurysm I had last year that was caught early has given me a great testimony. Reason to pause every second of life and give thanks. I am truly grateful to be alive and know how lucky I am. The memory I treasure most about your Dad was his great cooking and he always made me feel like a million bucks. Your Mom... the look of pride on her face when I learned to swim in her pool as a little girl.
May you find peace, healing and comfort in all of us who are lifting you during this sorrowful time. We may not talk often or ever...but I have always loved you. When I was a little girl, you were the closest thing to sisters I ever had.
Blessings and good health to you my sweet friends.
Love,
Lori (Odom) Stegner

“The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it... as i mentioned this was my Mom's favorite poem and I misspelled the word. "Nor all thy Tears wash out a WORD of it. I fiercely loved my Mom and Dad. I know Mom is now with my Dad and both of them are smiling and at peace. I talked with my Mom everyday and I am missing Mom so very much. She is a wonderful, fiesty friend and loving Mom. Thank you to all those who loved her too, Kimbo

To the Principal Family: I met Ree and Vic when I was 20 years old. When My mother passed away they both came up to the mall and sat with me all afternoon. Altho Ree herself had to wrap up and Vic had Just gotten over knee surgery himself they spent the afternoon comforting me. They were always such an inspiration to me. Always words of wisdom and more in love than any two teenagers. I remember the pictures of Ree's suprise birthday party in Vegas. They would always ask me to go and i would give them 20 dollars to win the jackpot. I had many talks and beautiful memories but my favorite was when i first met them. Vic said here are a picture of my daughters. He pulled out his wallet and showed me a picture of Kim, then Victoria. I said "Your daughters are very beautiful" he said they got it from their mother...he was right. Ree was so beautiful and so kind and giving, they both were. I will miss both of them with all my heart.
