Rena Good Obituary

Rena Griffin Good -MACON, GA - Rena Griffin Good, 97, formerly of Riverview Road, passed away on January 1, 2009. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 3P.M. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John Kinser officiating. -Mrs. Good was born in Ellaville, GA to the late W.G. and Stella Thompson Griffin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne M. Good and a daughter, Joan Good Raley. Mrs. Good was the former owner of W. M. Good Construction Company. She was a former member of Tattnall Square Presbyterian Church, and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Good was a member of the Optimist Club, DAR Nathaniel Macon where she served as regent several times, Macon Business Woman's Club and the Riverview Community Club. -She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Tommy Mann of Macon; sister, Mamie Abernathy of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren, Terri Raley Orr, Robert Wayne Raley, Thomas David Mann, and Carrie Mann Pearson; five great grandchildren, Sam and Katie Raley, Griffin Orr and Olivia and Thomas Mann. -The family would like to express a special thanks to Bernice Colbert for her loving care and dedication to Mrs. Good. -Donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 682 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of the arrangements.
