Ricardo Pitts Obituary

Ricardo Maynard Pitts -LITHONIA - Mr. Ricardo Maynard Pitts, age 20 of Lithonia, Georgia and formerly of Lafayette, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2003. He was a student at James Maddox High School. -Survivors are his son and daughter, Antoneo and D'Asia; a loving companion and friend, Sherri Brown; his mother, Maria Benton Pitts, all of Lithonia; father, Anthony (Tara) Pitts of Riverdale; brothers, Derek Terel and Anthony Allen Pitts of Lithonia; sisters, Sha Tonya A. Pitts of Lafayette and Lauren Pitts of Riverdale; maternal grandparents: Homer and Alma Benton of Lafayette; paternal grandparents: Hertha (the late Joe) Mims and Clarence Bryant of Macon; maternal great-grandmother, Addie Ruth Benton of Rialto, CA; paternal great-grandmother, Mamie De'Shazier of Macon; maternal aunts and uncles, Clarissa and Tyrone Brown of Atlanta, Alyce "Nikki" and Don Estus of Lafayette, Toby Mims, Cheryln (Duncan) Henderson, Shona Mims, Andrew Jo'El Mims, all of Macon; other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones. -Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1P.M. from Happy Home Baptist Church, N. Chattanooga Street, Lafayette with Rev. Michael Montgomery and other ministers officiating. -The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00P.M. at Willis Funeral Home in Dalton. The remains will lie in state at the church one hour before the funeral on Wednesday. -Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton, Georgia.
