Richard T. Lawless, 71, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. Funeral services will be private.
Born in Macon, GA, he was the son of the late Harvey and Lula Mae Heard Lawless.
Richard was a police officer and a firefighter. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting guns and was an avid shooter with many awards. He loved all sorts of music and loved to share stories about growing up in Macon when it was producing top music artist.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheila Lawless; daughter, Candy Lawless (Jon Thompson); Step-sons; Andy Bartlett (Sandra) and Randy Bartlett (Fran Boswell. Grandchildren; Madison Bartlett, Drew Bartlett (Matilda), Alex Bartlett, Cayden Bartlett, and Iverson Evans. Sister, Vicky Grim and niece, Tina Beckham.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Georgia Industrial Children's Home 4690 North Mumford Road Macon, Georgia 31210.
