Bobby, the State of Georgia and the Nation has lost a great man with the passing of your Dad. I will always treasure the times we spent together in association meetings and visiting elected officials. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers as you deal with this great loss. I learned many lessons from your father over the years. Bob Cleveland was a straight talker in a world of double speak and his memory and greatness will live on through his family and friends.

To the Family of Bob Cleveland:
On behalf of the Department of Housing and Consumer Economics and the Housing and Demographics Research Center, I want to express our sympathy to your family. It was always a special visit when Bob came to offer advice, talk to a class, or promote the homebuilders association on the University of Georgia campus. We appreciate his wise counsel and his dedication to a career he loved. What a great role model he will continue to be. Dr. Sweaney, head of our department, is in London with a group of students for study abroad. I know she will also be sad to hear this news. Sharon Y. Nickols, former Dean and Professor, HACE

To the Cleveland Family, I send my deepest condolences. I lost my father Sam last week. Bob and Sam, and his mother Lois were best of friends and I was fortunate to have spent time with Bob and his children fishing at some of the best fishing holes around. Bob, Sam, Dickey and Mama Lois now you all have each other again, what a party.
