Robert L. Griffin Sr.

Robert L. Griffin, Sr. -LAS VEGAS, NV - Robert L. Griffin, Sr., age 60, of Las Vegas, NV, died on July 31 at home. -He was born in Macon, Georgia March 1, 1943. He worked at Mirant Corporation as a Maintenance planner in Las Vegas and was in the power plant business for over 30 years working in Georgia, Hawaii and Florida. He served his country in the United States Navy for eight years and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. He was loved and respected by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Griffin and by his sister, Gerri Connors. -He is survived by his wife, Cheri B. Griffin and five children: Archie LaMontagne, Joel LaMontagne, Kiz LaMontagne, Robert L. Griffin, Jr. and Dione Anduha; his siblings: Jean Hales, Bill Griffin, Judy Johnson, Kathye Griffin, Neal Griffin; seven grandchildren: Victoria, Patricia, Anthony, Cody, Kawika, Isaiah, Ronin and one great-grandchildren, Dylan. -A memorial will be held at 2:30P.M., Sunday, August 17 at Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church on Highway 49 in Macon, Georgia.
