To Blonnie Knaggs whom I worked with for years and knew Bob. I remember them attending my wedding years ago and how much I enjoyed Bob and Blonnie. I have not spoken to Blonnie in years but I send my deepest sympathy as I know how it is to lose your husband. My heart goes out to Blonnie and the family.

Mrs. Knaggs and Family,
On two different occasions a few years ago, I had the pleasure of being paired with Bob as a walk-on in fund raising scrambles at PCC. He was a man who exhibited a great passion toward the game of golf and all of the volunteer opportunities it afforded him. He will be missed by many. May God bless and bring you comfort for your loss.

I came to know Bob through the AT&T and the The Tour golf events.
Although I knew him only a short time here on this earth, I
look forward to a renewal of our friendship
in Heaven. He brought a large measure of joy to "volunteering". I will miss the laughter and the fellowship.

I was so sorry and most saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I had the privilege of working for/with Bob at many golfing events in the metro Atlanta area during the past 10 years. Bob was a wonderful, energetic and fun loving individual whom I truly respected and admired. No matter how long the day or difficult the task, Bob was always doing a little more and going the extra mile with a smile on his face or a hearty laugh. I will surely miss him and think of him often, especially when tournament weeks roll around.
My most sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

Blonnie,
Debbie and I were so sad to here of Bob's passing. When I started to play golf in Perry, Bob took me "under his wing" and made sure that everyone knew me. He always wanted me to ride with him when we played golf together. I will never forget his outgoing manner and stories he told to me and all that were around. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. Bob will be dearly missed by many and especially those of us who had the pleasure and honor of serving with him on the Blue Coat Committee for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, The Tour Championship/FEDEX Cup, The LPGA Chik-Fil-A Charity and the BellSouth Classic. We will miss and always remember his hearty laugh and generous spirit! Above his volunteering, he always had loving stories to share about his beloved wife and children, and those especially entertaining little "rascals" - his precious grandchildren.

Blonnie, I'm so sorry for your loss. Bob never met a stranger and was THE outgoing spokes person for golf, whether at Perry CC or a PGA event. He will be truely missed.
There will be a great void at Perry CC with his absents. May God comfort you and your family during this time of sadness.

I first met Bob at the Nationwide Senior PGA tournament that was held at Country Club of the South. Bob worked on my committees with golf carts and various course operations. He was a tireless worker and a man with great heart. Whenever I would ask Bob to handle a certain task he was cheerful and had that can-do attitude. Once I assigned that task to Bob I knew that it would be done and done well. I did not have to worry about it being done. When the tournament moved to Golf Club of Georgia, Bob moved with the tournament and kept on doing his usual outstanding job. Bob was nominated twice for Volunteer of the year during the tournament years.
Then when the Tourn Championship started at East Lake, there was Bob back at that tournament handling the marshal responsibilities for Hole# 3. I would look forward to seeing Bob each day in the Volunteer tent, with that big smile of his, and always asking me How I can help you! Through the years of the Tour Championship, Bob was a constant. I enjoyed touring the course during the days of tournament play and coming upon Hole# 3 to see Bob. He always had something to tell but always wanted to know how he could help. It has been said that the heart of a volunteer is the strongest heart imaginable. And in Bob we had a great volunteer with a heart of gold. I will miss him terribly. The golf tournaments in the area will all be for the worse because of Bob and his heart of gold missing from scene.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the many lives that Bob has touched. Bob, you and your spirit will ive with volunteers everywhere for the rest of our lives.

Blonnie,
I'm very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He has been one of the nicest neighbors from the time I moved to Perry. He often stopped by to invite me to join the country club, tell me about an event, or simply to say hello.
I remember that he honked the horn and waved just a couple of days ago. I will miss him.

He and I have been sharing some ideas lately as to some things we could do in our community to enhance recreational opportinities for our young people.
