Macon, Georgia - Robert "Bobby" Jackson Stroud, Jr., 75 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 23, 2022. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Lee Griffin officiating. The family will greet friends following the service from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Stroud was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Robert Jackson Stroud, Sr., and Lois Avery Stroud. He attended Ingleside Baptist Church. Mr. Stroud loved his children, loved being "Pops" to his grandchildren, and loved spending time with his friends. He graduated from Lanier High School in 1966 where he played football and enjoyed meeting with alumni friends often.
Mr. Stroud is survived by his children; Robby Stroud (Jean), Alisha Mullis (David), and Amanda Stroud, all of Macon; grandchildren; Allen and Avery Stroud, and Blaine Mullis; brother, David Stroud (Jan) of Savannah; and nephew, David Stroud, Jr.
