The original fishing guru, Juanita Ross - Ron's mom, taught me how to fish, but Ron was by far the best fisherman. When we went out to the lake, he'd usually be the first one out there in the coldest of weather and the darkest of nights for hours on end with all his poles lined up and a basket full. He helped me out a lot and ragged on this novice fisher a little. He had a sharp wit and an even sharper memory. He never shied away from a healthy dose of competition be it on the docks or on a tennis court. :^) Overall, Ronnie was a decent friend and he had a good heart. He will be missed. Rest in peace, friend. May God bless your soul.
I'll continue to pray for your family and you, Juanita. I love you.
