Russell Turner Obituary

Russell Earl Turner -LAKE SINCLAIR - The death of Russell Earl Turner age 78 occurred Monday evening in Eatonton. Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon 2P.M. from the Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, PA. -Mr. Turner was a native of West Fairview, Pennsylvania lived in Middletown, PA working at Olmstead Air Force Base for over twenty years before moving to Warner Robins, GA working with Robins Air Force Base from 1965 until his retirement in 1985 and moving to Lake Sinclair. He was a veteran of WWII and the widower of the Elsie Mae Rehkugler Turner. He enjoyed bowling, square dancing, model airplanes and fishing. -Survivors include his daughters, Kathleen Joyce Turner of Lake Sinclair and Karen Ann Turner of Flowery Branch; brothers and sisters, John Turner, Ronald Turner, Gladys Turner, Dorothy Fitzsimmons and Gloria Jean Sells all of Camp Hill, PA and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. -The family will be at Wiedeman Funeral Home in Steelton Pennsylvania Monday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. for friends to call. -Moores Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Will always have good memories of Rusty trying to keep me on the right foot when we were round dancing. Rusty would be listening to the caller and I would tell him I can't dance without looking in your eyes and he would crack up. A good man and he will be missed by many.
