I have fond memories of the many Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings at Aunt Sara and Uncle Jack's house. You could always count on some of the best butter beans and fried corn in the south to come out of Aunt Sara's freezer. She will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to have had Sara in their lives.

As a student in your First Grade class of 1936, I have many fond memories as the years have passed. Also returning to Heard School to teach the First Grade next door to your class room was another learning experience from you. I went on to teach almost as long as you completing 40 years of teaching. Love and sympathy to your familly and friends.

Aunt Sara,
Our "blended family" Thanksgiving meals will never be the same without your beautiful smiles and heartwarming hugs.
We are so glad that that you were a part of our lives.

Mrs. Willis was my First Grade Teacher in '56!...I have run into her many times during the later years...she certainly had a special place in my heart and had always wanted to know how I was doing...I felt so special as I was hard of hearing at the time...little was known about the problem I had ... but she made me "SPECIAL". I will never forget her...God has her now..I thank God for the beautiful memories of her...Love, Anne
