Pookie, Lee and I all went from elementary school through high school together and would walk to school and from school some days and even visited each others houses as children. She nicknamed me Vickie Voo in school and that's what she'd always call me when she saw me. Pookie has always been a very sweet and humble person who would just make you smile and laugh at all times. She had such a sweet spirit. I loved her truly. This has definitely broken my heart and to Mrs. Lena, Shannon, Nathan and Lee, you all are in my prayers and if you need me, I'm there. Sleep on Pookie and take your rest.

When I say she will be missed, I mean that. I've known Sheletha since childhood. We also worked together at Houston Medical Center. If you were having a bad day, she would have you crying laughing about anything. I use to say that if I ever got sick or just couldn't take care of myself,I wanted her to take care of me. Sheletha gave the BEST bedbaths, even if the patient couldn't talk ,you just knew by the look on their face that it was soothing. She would dang near have her whole body in the bed and would be wet herself. We talked at least twice a week and she always kept me up with the latest news. God has gained a Beautiful angel and I'm not sad at all.
Love you Shay-Shay.
