Pookie, Lee and I all went from elementary school through high school together and would walk to school and from school some days and even visited each others houses as children. She nicknamed me Vickie Voo in school and that's what she'd always call me when she saw me. Pookie has always been a very sweet and humble person who would just make you smile and laugh at all times. When I say she will be missed, I mean that. I've known Sheletha since childhood. We also worked together at Houston Medical Center. If you were having a bad day, she would have you crying laughing about anything. I use to say that if I ever got sick or just couldn't take care of myself,I wanted her to take care of me.
