Upon meeting Spencer I knew instantly that I would be forever changed. His way of breathing life and vitality into every moment was unmatched. Always with a smile and a joke he enriched my life and the life’s of those around him. Spencer’s death has taken something from us all. I myself however will take from Spencer the ability to find the good in every one and the life in every day we live. Spencer we love you, we miss you and we keep you always in our hearts and in our minds. To Spencer’s family and closest friends I send my deepest condolences and prayers and may you as well take Spencer with you as you continue in this life. With deepest sympathy

Spencer's death has saddened my whole family, especially my son Adam. Their was a group of children who grew up at Paideia school being best of friends. My husband and I were so lucky to have shared in all of their lives for 5 years. Then as they grew older they seemed to drift away. Spencer was the highlight of our lives just like our two sons, Steve and Adam. Amy was one of the most loving and caring mothers because I used to look at my husband and say Amy Oedel is one of those great mothers and their were not many like her. We will all miss him greatly and our deepest sympathy is with you and the kids now in this time of deep pain. LOVE ALWAYS THE COLLINS FAMILY Atlanta Ga.

I've grown up knowing Spencer, and know how hard it must be for Amy, Grace, and Ike. I still smile when I think of Spencer, and these memories will forever help me to celebrate his life. I send my deepest sympathies to the family.

I am so sorry to learn of Spencer's death. Our minds can accept the death of an older person, but it is difficult to accept the death of one so young. Our prayers are with you.

Spencer's death has deeply saddened our family. We mourn the loss of his wit and the sweetness that could accompany it -- all that made him stand out from the crowd. The Cobb and Gardner family sends our condolences to Amy, Grace and Ike for your loss.
