Macon, Georgia - Graveside Service for Sylvia Denise Ficklin are 1:00PM Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Macon Memorial Park. Sylvia Ficklin, 48, departed her life on Monday, November 22, 2021. Sylvia leaves behind to cherish her loving memories her devoted husband, Mr. Paul R. Ficklin; her daughter, Ms. Ashley S. Woodson of Unadilla; two step-children; Mrs. Ariel (George) Cobb of Locust Grove and IS2(IW/SW/AW) Benjamin P.E. (Caroline) Ficklin National Maritime Intelligence Center of Suitland, Maryland; her mother, Ms. Mattie Bostic of Unadilla; three sisters; Ms. Shirley Jenkins of Warner Robins, Mrs. Sharon (Michael) Raines of Perry, Georgia and Mrs. Latasha Dawson of Unadilla; one brother, Mr. Henry E. Middlebrooks, Jr. of Warner Robins; two granddaughters; Madisyn Carter of Unadilla and Elise Cobb of Locust Grove; four brothers-in-law; Lewis H. Ficklin, Rev. Dr. Henry C. Ficklin, Bobby A. Ficklin, Sr. and Calvin R. Ficklin all of Macon; three nieces, three nephews, and a host of sorrowing aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her Mt. Vernon Church Family.

Paul, I was so shocked that I am just hearing abt this. I did not know that Sylvia was even sick, but we had lost touch but you always kept me updated when you delivered packages to the office. My heart hurts for you and her family. I loved Sylvia.
