Macon, Georgia - Services for Mrs. Truenell R. Collier are 11:00 AM Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Lundy Chapel Baptist Church with burial in Old Marion Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Collier was a member of Greater Lizzieboro Baptist Church. She was a Case Worker Senior at Macon-Bibb County DFACS for 17 years before retirement.
Mrs. Truenell R. Collier was born on April 13, 1943 in Twiggs County, Georgia to the late Freddie Riggins, Sr. and the late Ruthie Glover Riggins and completed her earthly journey on September 14, 2025.
Mrs. Collier was married to the late Deacon Robert L. Collier, Sr. for over 40 years and leaves to cherish her memories: four devoted children, Pythagoras K. Aaron, Decius T. Aaron, Sharee Aaron-Harrell and Robert L. Collier, Jr.; two daughters-in-law, Cheryl Canty-Aaron and Chandra Collier; seven grandchildren; siblings, Willie Mae Burnette, Freddie (Miriam) Riggins, Jr., Kelsie (Jennie) Riggins, Sr., Dr. Ephraim (Victoria) Riggins, Dr. Clarence (Linda) Riggins, Alvin (Bridgett), Arnold (Charlotte) Riggins; three sisters-in-law, Annette Collier, Shirley Ann Weems, and Lucille Collier; and a host of relatives and friends.

I guess we thought that you would live forever, just doesn't seem real. You were definitely a major glue in our family. You were more like a second mother to Cheryl and myself. We will miss your laughter and long talks at mom's house and over the phone, your stories of overcoming obstacles inspired us. You truly loved the Lord, which marveled through your kindness towards others, always wanting to help those in need. Aunt Nell, rest easy and thank you for your unwavering support.
