William "Bill" Calvert
Macon, GA- William "Bill" Calvert, 75, of Macon, Georgia died Sunday, July 31, 2016. Services will be held in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00AM with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Reverend James Cannon will officiate. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Calvert, son of the late Ellen Elizabeth Stephan Calvert and the late Thurman Asia Calvert, was also predeceased by his sister, Katie Evans, his wife, Dorothy "Jean" Calvert and his daughter, Brandy Roland. He was a welder by trade. Mr. Calvert loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Calvert is survived by his son, William Ray Calvert (Ann Gee) of Jones County; grandchildren, William Roland, Phillip Roland, Katie Roland, Nicole Vance, William Calvert, Jr., Tracy Cook, Heather Scroggins, Hunter Calvert, Ashley Dorough and Taylor Krueger; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Janelle Jarboe of Florida, Linda Evans (Matt) of Macon, Laurie Redding (John) of Maryland and Anita Calvert-Reak (Brian) of Vermont.

I have many good memories of you from my early fellowship years. i recall us hanging out at jimmy morgan's house at least 20 years ago like it was yesterday.
