Dr. Farrar was my wonderfully kind boss at USC. I just thought of him today after so many years. I was a single mother of two little girls, one of who had a number of frightening asthma episodes. I will never forget how helpful he and Mrs. Farrar were during those stressful times. I desperately woke them one night when my baby couldn't' breathe, and they both rallied to my aid without hesitation. A very intelligent, sensitive, giving person has passed over. I am eternally grateful to him and his family and feel especially blessed to have received a thought visit from him today. May God bless you all.

Dear Farrar family - I was so saddened to read that Dr. Farrah has passed away, yet it's a consolation that he was able to spend so may happy years in Brevard. He was very patient in answering my questions about the plants in your Mt. Pleasant garden, as my interest in such things was just taking root. What a wonderful teacher he was. I'll never forget how generous he was with his time and knowledge. My heartfelt condolences to you all.

We remember Edmund as a wonderful neighbor in Creekside. I will always be grateful for his calming presence on what was ,for me and another mother,an awful day in June 1980. We are so sorry for your loss, Carver, Martha, and Virginia.
