MADISON - Audrey L. Cheney, 83, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
She was born on March 22, 1940, the daughter of Alfreda and Herbert Long. She married Robert Cheney in 1957. She worked at Central Wisconsin Center for many years as a caregiver, a job she truly enjoyed.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughters: Summer Faust (Eric Arnold), Laura Trumble; and son, Dean Cheney (Tonya); granddaughters: Lisa Mehringer (Justin), Brittany Faust (Taylor Weeden), Lindsay Faust (Tessa Englund), and Chloe Cheney; great-grandchildren: Grant and Anna Mehringer, and Fiona Weeden.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; sister, Diana Polz; and brother, Leland Long.
A private family celebration will be held at a future date.

I great memories of meeting Bob and Audrey at East Towne mall when I was on maternity leave with both of my daughters who are now 20 and 21. It was great meeting up with them where they would mall walk. She has always been so kind and cared so much for the residents she worked with in Bld 2.
