Barbara Clinton Obituary
March 30, 1931 - March 31, 2025
MADISON - Barbara Loveland Clinton, 94, of Madison, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Attic Angel Health Center. She was born on March 30, 1931, in Madison, the daughter of Bernard and Irene (Slater) Walker.
Barbara graduated from Madison East High School in 1949. She worked as a registered nurse at Madison General Hospital, Oakwood West, and served as an EMT for the Village of Shorewood Hills.
Barbara was a member of Christian Woman's Club of Madison and the Shorewood Gardening Club. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She was blessed to travel with dear friends. She was an excellent gardener, quilter and cook. She enjoyed entertaining, especially her grandchildren, and being active in her church.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Ann (Kent) Anderson and Susan (Dan) Soderholm; grandsons, Kyle (Rebekah) Anderson, Erik C. Anderson, Chris Anderson and Erik H. (Ruby) Soderholm; granddaughter, Kirsten Soderholm; and great-granddaughters, Addie, Sylvia and Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Dorothy Moe and Janice (Howard) Rom.
A funeral service will be held at RIVERSIDE CHURCH, 301 Riverside Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Friday, April 11, 2025, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Attic Angel for their tender care and for enriching her later years; and also the support of Agrace Hospice in her last weeks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Forest Springs or Riverside Church. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
