Ross, Benjamin C. "Ben"
ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. – Ben Ross, age 49, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at his home in Essex Junction, Vt. He was born on Nov. 21, 1971, at Madison General Hospital in Madison, Wis., the son of Richard and Deborah Ross.
Ben and Richard, his father, owned a record store in Burlington, Vt., until May 2011, when a change in technology made it possible for music lovers to download their music for free. Ben then returned to school to complete a degree in accounting. He was always an outstanding student, appreciated and enjoyed by his teachers from kindergarten through graduate school. After obtaining his degree in accounting, he went to work as a financial planner for Edward Jones. Ben had a lifelong love for games. His favorite was Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), which he played with friends each and every week. He was kind and gentle, and the best son anyone could have. He left a legacy of love with all those he touched over the years.
Ben is survived by his parents, Richard and Deborah Ross. A service for Ben will be held at the Unitarian Church later this summer in Madison, Wis., when inside gatherings can be resumed.

The world has lost a true gem of a person with Ben´s passing. He was an intelligent caring and witty guy who could hold a conversation with anyone. He could talk gourmet recipes or sports stats all day long but oh If you were into music Ben was a virtual encyclopedia of knowledge-with passion! He was also great pet parent to his cat Monkey.I am honored to have known Ben.My heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be missed.
