MIDDLETON - Debbie Lynn Maier, age 65, of Middleton, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on May 11, 1960, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Field and Carolyn (Heitsch) Morey.
Debbie graduated from Middleton High School in 1978. She was united in marriage to Dale Maier on September 13, 1986, in Cross Plains. She worked as an office manager for Morey Airplane Company for 19 years.
Debbie enjoyed the outdoors from camping trips, bike rides and traveling abroad. She loved spending time with family and friends and being the life of the party. She loved shopping and would find the best deal in town.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Dale; daughter, Deedee (Derik) Wriedt; sons, Dane (Kari) Maier and Dylan Maier; granddaughter, Demi; father, Field; brother, Rich Morey; and niece, Jane Sailor-Morey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
