MOUNT HOREB - Earl J. Murphy, age 87, of Middleton, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026.
A Memorial Mass will be held at ST. IGNATIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 109 S. Sixth St., Mount Horeb, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, with Father Brian Dulli presiding. Burial will be held at St. Barnabas Catholic Cemetery in Mazomanie. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON CAMACHO MOUNT HOREB FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 500 N. Eighth St., Mount Horeb, from 4 until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday.

I've known Earl since I was a child. I started school in Arena WI in 1952 and went to school with his youngest brother and sister (Tom and Patricia), and knew the whole Murphy famiy including his Mom and Dad. They are a beautiful and well respected family. He'll be greatly missed. -Charlie Robb-
