Elmer M Henderson was called home on January 25, 2023, at his winter home in Los Fresnos, TX. He was 99 years young, born on March 29th, 1923, to Benjamin and Ella Henderson in Victory, WI.
Elmer was an avid fisherman, hunter, and traveler, which he enjoyed up until his passing. He also loved spending time with his family and friends who reached far and wide, whom he considered family.
Elmer was a very proud Veteran of WWII. He served in the South Pacific, specifically the Philippines.
He was the beloved father of 10 children: Norma Kay Lewis, Gary (Geraldine), Glen (Linda), David (Nancy), LaVern (Jodie), Linda (Jim) Mulhern, Terry, Larry (deceased), Edward (Linda), Sharon (Ross) Berge; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by the love of his life and wife of 72 years, Doris; his parents; sister, Donna; son, Larry; two sons-in-law; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
His Celebration of Life, is May 6th, 2023, 1:00p.m.-5:00p.m. at the Stoughton VFW, Stoughton, WI.
