Grimm, George
SUN PRAIRIE - George Grimm, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Hyland Park in Sun Prairie. He was born on May 19, 1931, in Milwaukee, Wis., the son of George and Elizabeth (Lamping) Grimm. George was married to his wife, Dolores (Bender) Grimm, on May 21, 1960.
George is survived by his wife, Dolores; son, Michael of Madison; brother-in-law, Robert (Kathy) Bender; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Denise; parents, George and Elizabeth Grimm; brothers, Gene, Fred and Joseph; and a nephew.
George was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Weather Service. After retirement, George and Dolores spent their winter months in Florida. Georgia liked to bowl and golf. George was a loving husband and father.
