Glen A. Schiltz

September 12, 1948 - August 3, 2025

MIDDLETON - Glen A. Schiltz, 76, passed away at home on Sunday, August 3, 2025. He was born on September 12, 1948, in Madison, the son of Kermit and Marguerite (Selleck) Schiltz.

Glen was a proud Navy Veteran (USS Independence) and a member of the Teamsters Union and the American Legion. He drove trucks for 38 years with Madison Silos, Borden, Consolidated Freightways (25 years), and Wingra Stone.

Every morning for the last few years, Glen would hang out at Paul's Bar, drinking coffee and solving the world's woes.

Glen is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patti; his children, Paul Schiltz, Monica Schissel, and Rosie Schiltz (Scott Noll); nine grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Karen Holznagel, Larry (Sherri), Mary (Doug) Hudzinski, Wayne, and Bob (Becky); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Margie Schiltz; baby brother, Raymond; and brother-in-law, Don Holznagel.

Private family services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at PAUL'S BAR, 2401 Parmenter St., Middleton, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
