Herman Pongratz Obituary
June 1, 1940 - July 16, 2025
Herman (Hermie) Pongratz, age 85, passed away peacefully July 16, 2025 at the VA Hospital in Madison, Wis., following a progression through Alzheimer's disease.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Marie Pongratz, and brothers, Ray and Ralph.
Herman is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eileen; sons, Brian (Kris), Jeff (Jackie); grandchildren, Sarah, Grant, Katelyn, & Erik; his sister, Maralyn Byrd; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 1 to 4 p.m. at All Saints Senior Living, 8202 Highview Drive, Madison, WI 53719.
