STOUGHTON - Jane Lorraine Pawlus, age 80, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 in Stoughton, Wis. Born in Rockford, Ill., on April 3, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Jean (Nee: Goodwill) Crull.
A mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and true friend, Jane was a hairstylist and small-business owner. She loved gathering with family and friends, as well as traveling, coffee, knitting, music, movies, baking, and books. She was rarely found without a good book and a black coffee in her hands.
Thrice-married and forever beloved, Jane leaves behind generations. Her six children: Debra Nelson, Jeff Shannon, Barbara Laaraj, Danielle Meyer, Christina Meredith, and Jack Meredith. Her grandchildren: Brandon Shannon, Zachary Meyer, Emma Meyer, Sophia Laaraj, Zahra Laaraj, Hanna Laaraj, and Chloe Meredith. Her siblings: Ralph Crull, Linda Fuller, Mary Lou Femrite, David Crull, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren, and dear friends.
Jane led a full life and left us peacefully in her sleep. Thank you to everyone at Nazareth Health and Rehabilitation Center and the Stoughton Hospital for their warm and thoughtful care. We miss her, we love her, and will be celebrating her life with a luncheon on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Creekside Place in Evansville, Wis.
