MADISON -Janet Rose Fuhrman (nee: Hebein), reunited with her husband, Harold, on August 24, 2022, at the age of 89. Janet was born on September 20, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Martin and Justine Hebein. She grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Holy Angels High School in 1948. She earned a BS from Mount Mary University in Home Economics and Science, and a Master's degree in Adult Education and Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She worked as a registered dietician for the Milwaukee County School District and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Milwaukee during her career. Janet enjoyed skiing, golf and swimming and will be remembered for her kindness and devotion to family and faith.
Cherished mother of Ann C. Fuhrman, Mark H.T. Fuhrman (Amy B.F. Tutwiler), and Carol C. (David M.) Shobrook. Beloved grandmother of Genevieve M. Fuhrman, Nicholas H. Fuhrman, and Jonathan A. Shobrook.
A visitation will be held at CHRIST KING CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2604 N. Swan Blvd., Wauwatosa, on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorial donations in Janet's name can be made to The Catholic Diocese of Madison at 702 S. High Point Rd, Suite 225, Madison, WI, 53719.
