Madison – Janet Mary "Adler" Roessler, age 97, passed away on Monday December 30, 2024, at Oak Park Place. She was born on June 16, 1927, in Ashton Corners, the daughter of John and Pauline Adler. She married Anthony Roessler on November 24, 1951, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Janet Worked for the State of Wisconsin. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #7591. Janet also loved playing bingo, cards, camping, and dancing.
She is survived by her daughters, Candace Tallakson, Tamara (James Sr.) Davis, Sandra Lynn (George) Mecum; grandchildren, Shelley, April, Lorie, James Jr., Melissa, Chris, Joe, and Carrie. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at St. Dennis Catholic Church, 505 Dempsey Rd., Madison, with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl presiding. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, and on Wednesday at Church from 10 a.m. to the time of the Mass. Janet will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
