For Sandra and family, I too miss Janice to this day. She had such delightful personality and wit that I still miss today. Those were good years working with her. I miss her letters; I miss her voice. She was such a well-rounded person. Your mother did a great job raising you all. Wonderful family. Sending a virtual hug on this sad remembrance. I'll be it is hard for you. Take care. Sending love, Karen

Janice was the old pro in the office when I was hired by Norm , head of the Demographic Sociaology department at UW. Janice turned into my most liked person with her good nature, her wit and hir kindness. I loved her dearly. I married and moved away. Once we met up in Palm Springs while she was on a tour and we reunited. In touch via email for years until she couldn't anymore. I will always miss my friend Janice. My condolences to her sister and the rest of the family. It was a loss but God has welcomed her in, I am sure of that. Sincerely, Karen Holmberg Spoentgen, now of California.
