Lunder, Jeanette Ann "Jan"
SUN PRAIRIE - Jeanette Ann "Jan" Lunder, 96, of Sun Prairie, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her side on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021. Jan was born Oct. 8, 1925, to Charles and Marie (Hibicski) Heber. She grew up in Fond du Lac and spent most of her married life in Monona.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, boating, bocce ball, playing cards and volunteering in the community. The joy of her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always very welcoming. She had a light-hearted laugh and was always quick with a smile.
She leaves behind daughters, Terri DeFlorian of Genoa, Wis., and Dawn (Todd) Loeppke of Shell Knob, Mo.; son, Raymond (Gayle) Lunder of Edgerton, Wis.; sister, Elaine Albrecht of Mazomanie, Wis.; grandchildren, Michael (Kara) DeFlorian of Genoa, Wis., Mikayla DeFlorian of Genoa, Wis., Kevin (Amanda) Loeppke of Olathe, Kan., Shannon (Jared) McPherson of Honolulu, Hawaii, Weston (Breanna) Lunder of Prairie du Sac, Wis., and Nicole Lunder of Denver, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Spencer DeFlorian and Brooklyn Loeppke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jan was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Leonard Lunder; siblings, Leonard Heber, Eleanor Holtz, Evelyn Sommers, Dorothy Ondrasek, and Elizabeth Braun; and son-in-law, Jim DeFlorian.
