Jeffrey William Jadel
Nov. 1, 1955 - April 11, 2022
MADISON, WI - Jeffrey William Jadel passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 11, 2022. He was born in Midland, Michigan on November 1, 1955, a son of the late John and Miriam Jadel and preceded by his sister Pamela.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, cribbage player and most of all a kind and caring son, brother, and uncle. As a boy Jeff began his love of the outdoors through the Boy Scouts. A proud moment for him was earning his Eagle Scout award like is Father and Grandfather before him.
Jeff graduated from Wittenberg University in 1976. His interest in the outdoors sparked a career selling high end camping and outdoor equipment. Outside of work he was often at his happiest paddling a Canoe or out on a river fly fishing while wearing one of his well-known Hawaiian shirts.
The last couple years of his life he spent welcoming his newest great nieces and nephews with gifts, love, and lots of laughs. He is survived by his brother-in-law Marc Flaherty, his nephews Michael and John Flaherty and his great nieces and nephews Isla, Miles and Mason. He will be laid to rest during a small ceremony at a family plot in Croswell Cemetery in Croswell, Michigan May 6, 2022, at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heifer International.

I am deeply sorry for Jeff's loss. I did not know him through Boy Scouts, but we have very similar backgrounds in that we are both Eagle Scouts and have fathers and relatives who are Eagles. I am a Realtor in Madison. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you during this very difficult time.
